Land Ahoy
The Bosphorus Boat Show On Land, Turkey’s largest and the second largest land-based boat fair in the world after Düsseldorf’s Boot, was held in five halls of the Istanbul Expo Center (İFM), located across from the Yeşilköy Istanbul Atatürk Airport. The fair is organized by the Yacht and Boat Industry Association (YATED), one of the largest NGOs in the sector, in collaboration with ED Fuarcılık. It will take place from February 15-22, 2025, bringing together maritime enthusiasts and fairgoers.
The Bosphorus Boat Show Sea Fair, held from October 26 to November 3, 2024, at the Marintürk City Port Pendik in Istanbul, hosted over 500 brands and more than 320 boats across 150,000 m², bringing together nearly 30,000 maritime enthusiasts. In the Bosphorus Boat Show On Land, over 1,200 brands and more than 500 boats gathered in 75,000 m² of indoor exhibition space, with a net area of 31,000 m², and over 65,000 maritime enthusiasts visited the fair.

Like the Sea Fair, the On Land Fair was promoted to the target audience through social media campaigns starting at least 3 months in advance and a ‘special marketing plan’ that kicked off one month before the event. Just as in 2024, in 2025, the fair area was transformed into a festival space with carefully planned and organized events. This ensured that both exhibitors and visitors had an unforgettable eight days.
Our fairs featured a wide range of participants, including boats such as motor yachts, sailboats, catamarans, sport boats, megayachts, speedboats, dinghies, marine engines, boat equipment and accessories, jet skis, marine toys, diving gear, fishing equipment, land and sea vehicle brands and companies, as well as leasing and insurance firms.
With the support of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey and the knowledge of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, the fairs also received participation from the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), Bakırköy Municipality, other district municipalities, and numerous NGOs. Various brands and institutions also contributed as sponsors, adding value to the event.
